What is Brow Lamination?

Brow Lamination is also known as an “eyebrow perm” or “brow lift”. It allows your eyebrows to hold a structured shape by have a fuller brushed up look. This is a great option for clients with sparse or unruly brows, and even clients who are afraid to take dive into permanent makeup. Brow Lamination lasts up to 6-8 weeks. (Results vary due to aftercare, skin type and hair growth patterns)

• Clients must avoid using retinol, AHA’s and BHA’s 10 days before the procedure.

• Clients cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding during the time of procedure due to reactive skin from changes in hormones.

• Clients may receive Brow Lamination 12 weeks post breastfeeding.

How do I take care of my Brow Lamination?

• Do not wet eyebrows for 24-48 hours. (No swimming, try to avoid sweating and steam, etc.) 

• Avoid touching the brow area at the risk of transferring oils.

• Do not apply makeup to brows for 24 hours post-treatment.

• Do not apply Retinol, AHA/BHA or exfoliate the brow area for 10 days before and after the treatment.

• No self-tanner should be used on the face for at least 48 hours post-treatment.

• Avoid sleeping on your face. (Brows will be delicate for the first couple weeks)

• Apply aftercare before bed daily. (Can also be used in the morning)  

•  Comb hairs into place each day with a spooly aka mascara wand.

How often should be I be getting waxed?

I recommend 4-5 weeks depending on your hair growth. Some clients I even recommend 2 weeks. It’s important to be at the Anagen phase when our hair is actively growing. Since our body hair is different than our facial hair the Anagen phase is closer to 6-8 weeks. That would be a perfect time for any of your waxes like, legs, bikini or under arms.

What do I need to know before a facial?

Before a facial I recommend going about your normal routine. Please inform me if you are using any retinol or other skin resurfacing products or services before our appointment together. Please also share if you have any sensitivities, allergies or preferences so that I may be able to best customize your facial for you.

Do you do makeup?

I have a background in casual and wedding makeup, as well as Special FX makeup. Currently focusing more on the skincare and waxing part of my license. I am open to discussing prices and appointments depending on my availability.
